BLOOD SMEAR ANALYSIS
(MECOS-BSAì)
program for
motorized
complete set performs automatic microscopy of a
stained blood smear. BSA scans smear by adaptable path and forms samples of leukocytes
and
erythrocytes of a given volumes.
It makes a quantitative evaluation of anysocytosis and poikilocytosis,
builds a Price-Jones graph, distribution of the hemoglobin quantity within
the erythrocytes, distribution of erythrocytes by the shape, the 8 types
formula of the pathological erythrocytes (schizocytes, megalocytes,
echinocytes, stomatocytes, elliptocytes, teardrop cells, target cells, bite
cells), erythrocyte ellipse coefficient. BSA makes 12 types presorting of leukocytes (segmented neutrophyles, lymphocytes, monocytes,
eosinophyles, basophyles, band neutrophyles, blast cells, myelocytes,
promyelocytes, metamyelocytes, plasmocytes, atypical lymph0cytes). Total presorting of
MECOS-BSA is diff 12+8=20. Under 5% of
